Letting these two companies combine is a bad deal for workers.

  • According to estimates from the Communications Workers of America, the deal could eliminate as many as 30,000 jobs across the country.
  • Sprint & T-Mobile have promised investors at least $6 billion in annual “cost synergies” – that’s corporate-speak for job cuts.
  • The only way to save that kind of money is by destroying jobs. Even T-Mobile CEO John Legere conceded that there’ll be a “rationalization of jobs in the first year.”

Sprint and T-Mobile employees should not lose their jobs for a merger that does not bring any benefits – just higher prices and less competition.
